For one, the grammar is learnt erratically, you learn one form of the present tense I during the first few chapters however you encounter the other forms much later on, which leads to confusion as you have to unlearn information to understand more. However, Al-Kitaab does have some positive factors; you will probably be forced to arrabiyya it in your studies, so prepare.

Alif baa and Part 1 are probably quite average books,but they did their job for me, but Part 2 is a great book that presents grammar and especially vocabulary in a very efficient manner that I enjoyed fik found very innovative. This book will teach you Arabic, but you won't enjoy it. So it was not helpful for me to have to start thinking about Egyptian and Levantine dialects as well as MSA at this early stage. The book eschews practical vocabulary, starting instead with "United Nations" the second word in the first chapter.
A simple, fast, proven way to learn Spanish with ease. The reason this textbook seems to be dif I don't see why this book has so many negative reviews.

This book is absolutely maddening. In my opinion this is a huge al-kiitaab.

Too many things are left unsaid and I'm glad I had good teachers to guide me through it. Mira rated it it was amazing Jan 27, For learning vocabulary, the usefulness of this technique is right up there with word search puzzles. And you probably won't be able to describe your daily routine even with the vocabulary set from Book 2.
It doesn't define most of the Arabic words you're supposed to learn, al-kiaab just uses them in hopes that you'll get the meaning from context.
